Don’t get me wrong, it is very important to set ourselves some new goals, however, must it be at the beginning of every year? I believe every individual knows their own abilities and what they are capable of achieving regardless of if they’ve set a personal goal or not. *Consistency is the ability to achieve a level of performance which does not vary greatly in quality over time.
*Determination is the ability to continue trying to do something, although it is very difficult.
When you set goals for yourself, it is important that they motivate you, this simply means, making sure that they are important to you, and that there is value in achieving them. If you have little interest in the outcome, or they are irrelevant given the larger picture, then the chances of you putting in the work to make them happen are slim. Motivation is key to achieving goals. Nevertheless, if you’re going to set some goals, don’t wait till it’s new years, do it right now that you have the chance.
